ACID FADER es una una banda procedente de Monterrey Nuevo León formada en 2016, conformada por Raul Alvarez (Voz), Amador Monterrubio (Bajo), Rodrigo Montalvo (Synths/Guitarra) y Kevin Cerda (Drums).
Influencias como la oleada de rock alternativo a finales de los noventa e inicios del 2000 (Placebo, Interpol, Deftones) y en combinación con el sonido eléctrico y sombrío del witch house actual (Crystal Castles, Crim3s, Pastel Ghost), crean la esencia de la banda, haciendo una atmósfera oscura pero a la vez llena de energía y moderna.
Acid Fader a compartido escenario con grandes bandas como Soviet Soviet (Italia). Human Tetris (Rusia), Motorama (Rusia), Intervals (Canada), Winter (L.A), Soft Kill (Portland), Las Cruxes (L.A), Aviatrix On Fire (Chicago), PRAYES (L.A), Clan of Xymox (USA), Tobogán Andaluz (arg), San Pedro el Cortez, Señor Kino, entre otros.
En Octubre de 2022 tuvieron su primer presentación en CDMX siendo sold-out. Actualmente están trabajando en su primer material discográfico en español.
Lanzaron su primer album de estudio llamado "1998" a finales de 2019. Han tenido diversas colaboraciones con artistas internacionales, entre ellos Wasei JJ Chikada, uno de los compositores del OST de Serial Experiments Lain. Actualmente están por estrenar su segundo álbum de estudio LESSER EVIL a finales de 2021, así como preparándose para realizar su primer gira por México
